Even the defualt sets of cars in LFS have LSD of some sort, quite a stiff suspension.
You Nissan has an open differntial, comfortable soft suspension, much shorter gear ratios, sure it will spin the front tyre a lot.
XFG with a road going like setup with oped diff spins wheels like mad.

Most of the reasons of your "problems" are your misconfusions of car's differncies so far

Quote from danielzzz :My issue in first place was that cars accelerate slow.

Any data to back up that statement?
Just because you feel they're accelareting slow doesn't mean they are actually. XRG accelerates 0-100km/h in around 6.7 sec last time I've been on a server with a Lapper, thats anything but slow in my opinion

Most people I know have an nvidia card and wouldn't touch ATI cards.

Never ever had problems with Nvidia cards, unlike Ati, so yeah, I'll never touch it again

Quote from idefix :I'm beginner ok. countersteering but isn't normal. which car can countersteer automatically oneself to road ? Driver must countersteer

Every car will do that. It seems that you've never driven a real car in a slide to me. Thats happening due to suspension geometry, mainly caster. You can try this on a bicycle, it has caster too, and if you'll release the steering, it will be heading straight because of the same effect
Hope I make it clear...

I doubt the OP is interested in buying DFP as he already bought a Thrustmaster RGT which he wrote in this thread

He wants a Joystick with ForceFeedback, meaning he will just run FFShifter program and it will use FFB motors to work as an H-shifter. Attack 3 isn't FFB one

Its not FFB joystick as he's looking for though

What he probably meant about rejoining, is theat a player re-connects to the server and continues the race with the same laps completed as before from the pits in a similiar way its done in IGTC

Quote from thisnameistaken :On a PC? My USB adapter doesn't give me analogue control on the buttons - they're off/on. What adapter are you using?

The sticks are analogue in most games but I don't think they were in GTA when I tried it. I've still got San Andreas installed so I'll check...

I was talking about PS2, not PC, sorry for misunderstanding

Quote from thisnameistaken :Hmm... It's a while since I played them but I plugged in a PS2 pad for a while to see if analogue control would be better and IIRC the direction sticks were digital.

d-pad and start, select buttons are digital, all other are analogue on PS2 pad (tested myself)

The thing that makes this a bit more difficult that the way you suggested is that licenced player can change his ingame nick anytime to a completly diffirent one. If your function will be implemented, the only reasonable way would be include the players name with which he was online last time

-+1 from me

Quote from Woz :Take it apart and take out the spring for the updown axis. Then it will not spring to centre

That Joystick has only one spring right under the stick, so it won't work.

League racing is a good reason that makes you learn to drive cars you haven't before, because you have to practice with it Its the way I learned to drive XRT properly

Highly unlikely. If even you will remove the rotation limiter, you'll have to completly rewrite the drivers for the wheel, because it just won't read any more than 270 degrees.

New pot might improve accurancy, but only if its compatible, so yes, it can improve accurancy, but pot has nothing to do with rotation. As far as I know all wheels with high degrees of rotation use optical sensors, not pots

Quote from UncleBenny :I'm guessing LFS would have to be updated to support this, would be cool if this came in with the next patch though.

Maybe its worth posting in Test patch or Improvment(less likely to be noticed by Scawen there though) area to notify Scawen about it while there are preparations for new official patch going?
This would be very useful G25/DFP users I guess...

Quote from kroozin :1) why dont people call it its real name. i.e choku dori or manji
2) The Teamorange cars were forsaleon driftworks a few weeks back.

Because those techniques are performed in empty roads in proper RWD drift-prepared cars, not in a fat lame FWD car in a traffic smashing pedestrians from time to time maybe?

Do you really think PD wants to improve physics? I doubt it, the've got the franchise that brings them money, thats what they need. IF they really wanted to improve physics, they could, not like they have hardware limitations like GT4 had with PS2.
